MINUTES OF THE 20TH MEETING OF THE DERBYSHIRE CHRONIC PAIN  SUPPORT  GROUP COMMITTEE

The 20th meeting of the Derbyshire Chronic Pain Support Group Committee was held on 25 November 2003, at the Guinness Trust Community Room, Sidney Street, Derby.

 Attendees:    

Mark Charity (Chairperson), Margaret Whitehurst (Membership Secretary),   Ray Whitehurst (Treasurer), Janet Owen (Secretary), Derek Woodward, Pauline Povey, Rae Ford

1.       Apologies:    Sandra Cunningham, Naomi Memmory

Mark Charity (Chairperson) opened the meeting by welcoming, introducing and thanking everyone who attended.  

2.       Minutes from the last meeting held on 28 October 2003, unavailable due to personal problems.

3.       Statement of Funding and Finances

      Opening balance of £613.87.   Community Fund advice on the Neighbourhood Grant to spend all money on advertising and stationary.

4.       Advertising

          Paul supplied 500 copies of new posters to be put out into the public domain.

5.       Website

          Needs to be brought up to date.

6.       A.O.B.

A vote was taken on whether to give £2 for the members going on the tour of the Crown Derby factory, a decision was taken to give each member £2 as a Christmas gift as this would be fairer.   We have 18 fully paid up members this would be a cost of £36.

7.       Date of Next Meeting

It was agreed that the next meeting be held on Tuesday 10 February 2004, 10.30 a.m. at the Guinness Trust Community Room, Sidney Street, Derby.
